When using Fonts for reproduction by a printing house, a number of points need to be considered as corruptions can occur at the pre-press stage. So to help avoid disappointment please bear the following in mind;

When working with fonts, please do not use the shortcut tools within your program to create bold, italic or underlined text. Only use the original fonts in their various versions; Roman, Medium, Bold, Italic, etc.

Do not use the Space Bar for indenting or as a shortcut to tabbing. Use the proper Tabbing facility available in your program. If you find this facility difficult to use, create separate text boxes for each block of text.

Dependent on the format of your file, fonts have to be treated in different ways.

PDF files:
PDFs are our preferred file format. All fonts must be vectorized within the PDF file as some fonts are restricted by copyright and will not embed into a PDF file.

EPS files:
All fonts must be  converted to paths or curves.

Mac Fonts & Email:
Never send your artwork that has been created on a Mac with Mac fonts via email corruptions can occur. Use FTP instead.
